Pastor Travis Afflick
About Pastor T
Travis was born on the picturesque island of Jamaica and immigrated to Canada with his family
at a young age. He has three brothers and one sister. Initially, he pursued a career in accounting
but later answered a divine calling to enter the gospel ministry.
After a substantial tenure in the financial industry, Travis embarked on a transformative journey
at Atlantic Union College (AUC) in South Lancaster, Massachusetts, graduating with a BA in
Religion and Theology. He furthered his education at Andrews University Seminary, earning a
Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry. Currently, he's immersed in the pursuit of a Doctoral
Degree in Mass Media and Communication, aligning technology with theology to advance the
Gospel Commission.
Travis has been a dedicated member of the Ontario Conference since 2007, serving at the
Mississauga, Brampton, Meadowvale, Toronto Kingsview, and Downsview Churches. In July
2012, he was ordained to the gospel ministry. He served as the treasurer for the Greater
Toronto Area Ministerial Association and the Chaplain for the Ontario Conference Master Guide
Council until his recent departure from the Ontario Conference. He has also served as Chaplain
and Chairman of the Toronto Adventist District School Board. His unwavering commitment to
his principles of ministry has played a significant role in transforming lives, focusing on helping
individuals of all ages discover their full potential.
He is passionate about Gossiping the Gospel and, as a result, has spread the message of the
Gospel in Central America, the Caribbean, and various cities across North America. His efforts
have led to numerous souls being touched by the Holy Spirit and choosing to surrender to
Christ.
His philosophy of ministry revolves around directing individuals towards Jesus as the solution to
life's challenges while preparing for eternal life on a renewed and recreated earth.
Travis partners in ministry with Ann-Marie, a teacher by profession. She holds bachelor
degrees in Sociology and Education and a Master Degree in Education.
Ann-Marie has been actively involved in various church ministries, including Women's Ministry,
Education, and Children Ministries.
Ann-Marie's interests include reading, music, travelling, and connecting with new people. She
lives by the empowering words of Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me.
Travis and Ann-Marie share a blessed union, graced by two children: Yeshua, now a Sophomore
at Andrews University, and Bethany, a Junior at Crawford Adventist Academy.
They solicit your prayers as they join you on the journey to the kingdom.
